AniMel Art retains full copyright on all artwork produced, including all reproduction rights.

With regards to commissioned work I reserve the right to display it on my website and social media pages. Please notify me as soon as possible if your commissioned work is intended as a gift and you do not want it to be shown online until its been gifted.

Payment

To confirm your booking, and prior to starting your commission I require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid by direct bank transfer. This is to cover my time and materials during the initial consultation process and creation of the draft sketch.

Once the artwork is completed full payment of the remaining total (include postage and any add on’s) is required before the artwork will be released to you.

Shipping & Packaging

All artwork is packaged individually by hand with care and is ready to be gifted.

While your artwork is created with professional, lightfast, and archival materials a protective sealant is applied to the artwork before it’s packaged to ensure it’s longevity.

Artwork is placed inside a plastic sleeve with a 2mm thick backing board to prevent bending. They are then secured inside a cardboard folder for extra protection until you are ready to frame your artwork.

All sizes A5, A4, and A3 are mailed flat inside sturdy recyclable mailer bag/envelope and sent via NZ Post courier with tracking (non signature).

If you would like it sent via economy tracked or upgraded to courier with signature required please let me know.

After artwork is handed over to the postal service AniMel Art is not responsible for any lost or damaged packages. However if there has been any issues with the delivery of your artwork, please contact me immediately. If your artwork(s)/print(s) is delivered damaged please get in contact with Mel immediately within 24 hours by emailing animel.artwork@gmail.com. Please keep your package together as it was received and take pictures - these will be required for claims. I will take reasonable steps to contact the postal service on your behalf.

Refund Policy

Commissions:

Due to their bespoke nature, I am unable to offer refunds on completed commissioned work.

I work very closely with my clients, I have an open and collaborative process from the outset through to completion to ensure all parties are satisfied with the design, development, and progress.

If you decide you do not wish to proceed with your commission during the process you are not obligated to complete the full payment however I will retain the 50% non-refundable deposit to cover my time and materials.

Fine Art Prints:

No exchange or refunds for change of mind. If your print(s)/artwork(s) is delivered damaged please get in touch with Mel immediately within 24 hours by emailing animel.artwork@gmail.com. Please keep your package together as it was received and take pictures - these will be required for claims.
